The Moonpigs are the mascots for personalised card website Moonpig. They have been the mascots for Moonpig since 2021, when they were introduced as 'the return of the Moonpig mascot, but in the form of a new, animated little character that will take centre stage in future campaigns'. They were introduced as part of the Moonpig campaign 'The moonpigs hve landed'. They marked the second mascot of Moonpig, after their long standing mascot Moonpig. Moonpig stated on their website page for the 'The moonpigs have landed' campaign that “We have one of the most recognizable brand names in the UK with an iconic jingle, but somewhere along the way, we lost another key brand asset that’s unique to us - the pig. So we decided it was time to bring it back.” Since their introduction in 2021, many Moonpigs wearing different outfits to match the card being sent have appeared in adverts, mainly shown at holidays and celebrations such as Christmas, Mother's Day and Father's Day. Moonpig also say on the previously mentioned campaign page that 'just like how there’s a Moonpig for every moment, the Moonpigs will change their little outfits to match the designs in the company’s ever-growing card range' which is shown many times during their advertisements.
The first four Moonpigs to be seen, in the 'The moonpigs have landed' campaign. They're seen with an avocado costume, a party hat, a dinosaur costume and a superhero costume reminiscent of Robin.
