The Serta Counting Sheep are mascots of the American mattress brand Serta.
They are a flock of sheep whose job is to help people get to sleep by jumping over a fence at the end of the person's bed. However, they become outraged when people purchase Serta mattresses thus not needing to count sheep anymore.
Some commercials feature some of the flock enjoying the feel of a Serta mattress, much to the annoyance of the flock's ugly and disheveled leader, Number 1.

- The sheep were created by the UK-based Aardman, who are best known for creating Wallace and Gromit, and another sheep-focused animation titled Shaun The Sheep. They also created Douglas for British adverts for Lurpak and The T-Birds for adverts for PG Tips.
