Mick (short for Michael) and Tel (short for Terry) are characters who have appeared in adverts for life insurance company DeadHappy since 2020.
They are voiced by Jonny Lang.
They are two men in their late 30s (Tel is mentioned to be 36 in the advert "Workout") who are best friends and also brothers-in-law as Mick is married to Tel's sister Tracey (Trace for short) and Tel is married to Mick's sister Michelle. Both Michelle and Tracey have appeared in adverts with Mick and Tel and also their own solo adverts one of which titled "Swingers" shows that they have at least one child each with their respective husbands.
The adverts feature Mick and Tel in various situations with Mick mentioning about being with DeadHappy with Tel being disinterested in signing up, feeling that he does not need it.
They also appear in shorts on DeadHappy's YouTube channel.
