1997 King Of The Road
The Hedgehog Family appeared in adverts for THINK! road safety from 1997 to 2010. The adverts were shown to encourage children to follow the Green Cross Code when crossing the road.
The adverts focused on two young hedgehogs: a large one who represented an older child and a small one who represented a younger child. In the adverts, the younger hedgehog would attempt to cross the road, only to be stopped by the older hedgehog who encouraged his brother to Stop, Look and Listen out for cars before crossing the road.
Each advert would see the older hedgehog singing about road safety in the tune to well known songs, e.g. King of the Road in a 1997-2003 advert, Stayin' Alive in a 1999-2001 advert and Ain't Got No Home in their newer ads from 2001-2010.
