Funky & The Funkettes
Funky & The Funkettes are the mascots of card and gift company funkypigeon.com, taking over from Funky Pigeon.
Funky is a female soul vocalist pigeon backed by the Funkettes (consisting of her brother Dexter and their cousins Trafalgar and Marvin).
In September 2024, funkypigeon.com introduced the characters as part of their 'Give a Funk?' campaign. In the advert, a woman is seen in a shop, choosing a card. The group sing to her, Funky instructing her to 'put that cack back on the rack' and 'put some heart and soooul into it' while the Funkettes back, simply singing 'funkypigeon.com'. At the end of the advert, Funky says 'Give a funk? Give a funkypigeon.com'
