- "It's not surprising that little Buttons is wobbly on her feet. She's got tiny Button-cutter feet that whizz and whirr like a sewing machine as they carry her across huge deserts of Cadbury's Dairy Milk Chocolate, cutting out millions of Cadbury Buttons. She's always smiling and giggling, and no-one knows it, but she's got a great big crush on Dudley."

Buttons was the icon of Cadbury's Buttons in the UK as part of their Cadbury Land snack line from 1998 to 2001. She is a playful little girl with Button-cutter legs, making Buttons out of Cadbury Land's chocolate deserts with her large, sharp feet. She has a crush on Dudley that she keeps secret from the rest of the gang. She also has an older sister named Giant Buttons.
Appearance[]
Buttons bears the appearance of a little human girl, but she has springs for legs and electric Button cutters for feet that spin on the ground whenever she steps, capturing chocolate with her round, metallic feet to create Buttons. In early advertising, her hair is either turquoise or teal, with three ponytails held up at each side of her head seen from the front, and she wears a purple dress. On wrappers and merchandising, her hair is blonde and her dress and hairbands vary in color.
An altered version of Buttons existed in New Zealand from 2001 to 2006. This version adds ears and a more human-shaped head. She sports only two ponytails with red hairbands, neither of which touch her head, and always wears a red dress.
