Dotty Dunmore is a main character in the Tesco adverts from 1995-2004. She is a grandmother-like figure and the mother of Kate. She is played by Prunella Scales
Dotty always rides in Kate's Vauxhall car in the early adverts, but from 2000-2004, She has her own car called the Peugeot along with her daughter's, she first drives it in the Children's Tea advert from 2000 but is never seen until on some adverts from 2002-2003
