Connie the Doll and Trevor the Dinosaur

Connie and Trevor are toys who have served as mascots of British online retailer Argos from 2023 onwards.

Connie is voiced by Ruth Bratt whilst Trevor is voiced by Charlie Cooper.

Connie is based on a Design A Friend doll whilst Trevor is based on a Chad Valley dinosaur toy.

In the first advert, which first aired in May 2023, Connie and Trevor are seen admiring a newly arrived cushion in their home. Trevor goes over to it and lies on it. Connie then decides to put on a Bose speaker for Trevor before leaving him to continue lying on the cushion.

Connie and Trevor also appear in Argos' sponsorship adverts for British soap opera Coronation Street.

In November 2023, Connie and Trevor appeared in Argos' Christmas advert. In the advert, Connie is seen dancing and believes that Trevor filmed it on his phone, to which Trevor claims that he did. Unbeknownst to Connie, Trevor was actually filming himself on the phone.

In November 2024, Connie and Trevor appeared in Argos' Christmas advert. In the advert, Trevor is seen on a mountain of Marshall wireless speakers whilst performing "20th Century Boy" by T-Rex on an electric guitar to Connie and several other dolls. It is then revealed that the scene was a dream Trevor was having. Connie wakes Trevor up in order to give him his Christmas present, which turns out to be a Marshall wireless speaker.

Trivia[]

Connie and Trevor are Argos' second ad mascots. The first mascots were The Alien Family, who appeared in Argos' adverts from 2011 to 2014.
